Preparing for the install

Before you can install InvenTrack on your server you should make sure you have done the following steps. If not you will not be able to finish the installation process.

Step 1 (Create a database):

You will need to create a MySQL database for use with the InvenTrack system. Please consult your hosting providers FAQ or manual on how to setup a MySQL database on your hosting account. If you are hosting your site with us please refer to the following article:

Step 2 (Have your information ready):

You will want to make sure you have the following information ready before you proceed with your installation:

1.	Company Name, Address, City, State, Phone, Fax and Email

2.	Sales, Service, Parts and Customer Service Emails

3.	Dealership Contact Persons Name and Email

4.	CARFAX ID and Password if using the CARFAX option or AutoCheck information

5.	Admin Name, Email, Username and Password for system access

6.	Your License Information (License key and license to information)
